Registering an NZ Domain Name

Last Updated on November 19, 2020

Many web development companies will register your domain name on your behalf as part of the web service (if they do make sure you are listed as the Registrant – otherwise you won’t have any legal rights to the domain name).

Alternatively, it is quite straight forward to register it yourself as domain name registrars provide an automated online service. All you need is your contact details and a credit card. It can also pay to shop around for the best deal as prices can vary considerably – some domain registrars just provide the domain name, whereas others will include email accounts with the domain.
