There are a lot of different reasons why you may want to take a screenshot or screencast of your computer screen (or screens if you have a double display). It’s a useful way to have people help diagnose issues for you, or to provide website feedback to your web developer. A screenshot is simply a snapshot image of your screen, and a screencast is a video recording of every action you make on your computer (plus you can add audio to the video as an explanation).
